The Four Elements
In the 2014 design I have attempted to illustrate the four basic elements that are connected to the four directions: Fire, Earth, Water and Air.
Throughout the year different energies are going on which also have a connection to the four corners of the world.
This also corresponds with the basic medicine wheel and its four directions.
East: Fire, represents the Sun
West: Earth, soil, the container that absorbs and holds the heat from the Sun. Plants grow in it.
South: Water, nourishes plants, animals and humans.
North: Air, moves energy around. We breathe it.
